EUCAM^®-Syntex is a natural water-based fire-protection impregnation for application to indoor synthetic fiber fabrics and natural–synthetic fiber blends, for example, decorative fabrics, curtains, and textile wall- and ceiling coverings in event or assembly venues.

EUCAM^®-Syntex is environmentally friendly because it is free of halogens, heavy metals, and solvents. Moreover, EUCAM^®-Syntex is easy to apply by dipping or spraying.

EUCAM^®-Syntex contains a highly effective combination of near-natural or nature-identical nitrogen and phosphorus compounds. During a fire, noncombustible gases evolve, and the fabric chars, self-extinguishes the fire, and stops dripping and burning.

To verify the fire behavior according to DIN 4102, a suitably equipped sample is subjected to a flame for 10 min. During this time, the fire spread, smoke gas temperature and density, and other variables are measured.
